From SEAL Team to Serving Millions
Jocko Willink grew up in New England, enlisted in the Navy and became a SEAL. Rose to become commander of SEAL Team Three's Task Unit Bruiser in Ramadi, Iraq — the most decorated special operations unit of the Iraq War. Served alongside legends like Chris Kyle and Marc Lee (first SEAL killed in Iraq).
After the Battle of Ramadi, Jocko had to take EXTREME OWNERSHIP of a friendly fire incident that nearly killed his own men. That moment defined his leadership philosophy. After retiring, he co-wrote "Extreme Ownership" which became a leadership bible. His podcast became one of the most listened to in the world. His 4:30 AM wakeup photos became iconic.
He built Echelon Front (leadership consulting), Origin (American-made clothing and supplements), and became the voice of discipline for millions. His philosophy is simple: don't make excuses, take ownership, get after it.
